Provisionally Certified Teacher (PCT) Workshops
Thrive in your teaching journey.
In 2027, Tools4Teachers will be offering a series of online workshops designed to support your beginning teachers.
The primary focus will be on Literacy and Numeracy but we will also weave other curriculum areas into the programme.
Our workshops are always successful and engaging, and many schools enrol their PCTs each year as part of their induction and mentoring programmes.

Beginning Teacher Support
ONLINE Professional Development for Provisionally Certificated Teachers 2027
Six workshops will run during Terms 1,2 and 3 with a differentiated programme for teachers in Phase 1 and Phase 2/3.
Phase 1 teacher sessions will run on Wednesdays from 9.00 am – 11.45pm.
Phase 2/3 teacher sessions will run on Wednesdays from 12.15pm – 3.00pm.
The cost for the 6-session programme is $550+GST per PCT.
We are also offering an online session free of charge for mentor teachers following up from each workshop.
This will be a pre-recorded session, sent out soon after the live workshop.
This will give mentors the opportunity to find out what was covered, and how to guide and support the PCT in their practice.

Beginning Teacher Support
Professional Development for Provisionally Certificated Teachers, 2027
Eight workshops will run throughout the year with a differentiated programme for teachers in Phase 1 and Phase 2/3.
This year we have two venues to choose from:
Grey Lynn School, 44 Surrey Cresent, Grey Lynn, or
Papatoetoe East School, 138 Tui Road, Papatoetoe
All workshops will run from 9.30 - 2.00pm to avoid peak traffic times.
The fee for the full programme is $1200 + GST per teacher.
Tea and coffee will be provided but participants will need to bring their own lunch.
The mentor teacher online follow up is free for schools.
We are also happy to engage with schools who might want us to support their PCTs at their school.
This has been a very successful model where beginning teachers have attended our workshops and we have then worked with them in their class. Please contact us if this is something you would like to discuss.
